APPLICATION
Panels
The specifications provided in Section 3 are typical standard panels for common side slope and wet well pumping applications. The control panels as specified include the minimum necessary components and features recommended for landfill projects and are suitable for use in most other applications, although the intrinsically safe design may not be required for some applications. Custom feature and custom design control panels along with complete specifications are available from GunnCo.
The panels listed include digital level indication types, which operate using a sump mounted submersible pressure transducer and may be used for side slope or vertical wet well applications.
The float type panels do not provide level indication and are suitable only for vertical wet well applications. These may also be used in most methane condensate applications. The float type panel offers a cost savings where level indication is not required.
The specifications in Section 3 may be used to replace the standard digital level indicating simplex model 101 series which is included with the standard SidesloperTM system specifications provided in Section 2.
Additional control panel features commonly requested include digital flow meters, remote lock outs, low flow monitors, alarm beacons (on digital level indicating transducer based panels), and enclosure heaters with thermostat.
Also available are tank level indication and alarm panels.
